Dr. Arta Sadrzadeh

Bio

Dr. Arta Sadrzadeh holds two doctorates — in computational materials science from Rice University (2012) and in theoretical high‑energy physics from Texas A&M University (2002), covering quantum field theory, string theory, and supergravity. After Texas A&M he held a postdoctoral fellowship at the Harish‑Chandra Research Institute in Allahabad, India, before returning to Rice to simulate nanomaterials and their physical properties, authoring several highly cited papers on boron‑ and carbon‑based materials. His industry expertise is in seismic signal processing, pre‑stack depth migration, and both traditional and quantitative interpretation of seismic data, onshore and offshore. He joined New Dawn Energy in 2017, where he interprets 2D and 3D seismic images to identify oil and gas prospects.
