For 38 years he has worked as a scientist and strategist at Boeing Defense Integrated Systems, and for the past 18 years he has practiced clinical and educational psychology through his private practice, Integrative Counseling LLC. He is the founder of the Human in the Making Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals realize their noblest potential, enrich their families and communities, and devote themselves to service and the cause of human rights. He coordinates a weekly, nonpolitical UCLA Health-sponsored dialogue program that explores contemporary social issues through open conversation, and he hosts a weekly television program, “Knowledge, Insight & Freedom,” encouraging viewers toward constructive dialogue and social action. He is also the author of three books. At the summit he explores how an understanding of humanistic psychology can help create healthier, more human business environments -- where whole, motivated people reach their potential and do their best work.
