Eric Harper is an Emmy Award-winning composer, guitarist, and singer-songwriter based on Vancouver Island. Trained in film scoring at Berklee College of Music, he has placed music in more than 6,000 television episodes — from How I Met Your Mother to The Daily Show to Shameless — and scored award-winning films including Wished and Inseparable.
His Emmy came for Create Together, Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s collaborative HitRecord series — a project built on the idea that creativity grows when it belongs to everyone. Conceived in Argentina, born in Arkansas, and raised in Portugal, Eric writes from the seams between cultures, a sensibility that carries into an intimate, theatrical solo set: one musician and a guitar.
